Bwin was once known as BetandWin, an Austrian sports betting company. Bwin is a member of the Party Poker Network. It is the sister site of the network flagship, Partypoker.
Bwin started out on the Ongame Network under its former name, BetandWin. It acquired the network in 2005 and left the International Poker Network, known as Boss Media, at the time. The company merged with Party Gaming in 2011.
Bwin players were moved to the Party Poker Network in 2012. The Party Poker Network quickly became the second largest poker site after the two sites merged liquidity, behind only PokerStars.

Bwin Poker Summary
The Party Poker Network peaked as high as 6,500 players after the Partypoker merger. It has since lost well more than two-thirds of its traffic and now peaks around 2,000 players, according to PokerScout.
Bwin and its sister site Party Poker removed wait lists from the lobby in October 2015. Players must choose a limit and game but the software finds the table. Players do not see the usernames at the table until the first hand is dealt.
Bwin left the U.S. market in October 2006 when the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act was signed into law. It has since reentered the New Jersey regulated market. It also offers ring fenced networks in Spain, France and Italy through licensing in each country.

Bwin spreads many great games. It is aimed at social gaming players and its lack of incentives keeps the sharks away. The game selection is better than most sites. There are several large tournaments on weekends.
What We do not like about bwin
Support at bwin is terrible. It also has a past that involved banning and restricting winning players. This makes us cautious in recommending bwin. There is no rakeback, VIP program or first deposit bonus at Bwin. For this reason, we recommend choosing Partypoker over Bwin.

Bwin Game Selection
Bwin is partnered with Partypoker. This makes it the fifth largest online poker network, according to PokerScout. The network has a disproportionate number of smaller cash games when compared to similar networks of its size. Most cash games are 1/2 blinds and lower.
Players may choose between No Limit Texas Hold’em, Fixed Limit Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha and Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo. Seven Card Stud is available in the lobby. There is little action at this game.
Fastforward is a fast-fold version of these games. This is where a player is automatically taken to a new table after a fold. There is no waiting around for the hand to finish. Players have new opponents with each hand. Fastforward deals three of four times the number of hands that a player will find at standard tables.
Sit and go action is consistent up to the $22 level. It drops quickly after that. Nearly all sit and gos are No Limit Texas Hold’em. The lowest denomination is $0.11.
There are guaranteed poker tournaments spread nearly all hours of the day. Buy-ins range from ma few pennies up to the Sunday special with a $200 entry fee. Most tournaments are No Limit Texas Hold’em. A few are Pot Limit Omaha.
