Weekly Roundup October 7 2016
Full Flush Poker Still Down
Full Flush Poker is on day nine of its downtime. We first reported on the closure last week.
The site made an official announcement on Monday that it would give daily updates. It has not.
The Fullflushpoker.com domain was slightly updated with information that the site was getting new software. This contradicted its communication with players last weekend that the outage was due to a failed update. The Fullflushpoker.eu now forwards to an affiliate link for a different online casino.
Full Flush Poker is the flagship of the Equity Poker Network. The site experienced slow cashout times. Some players report waiting nearly one year for withdrawals.
Ignition Casino Transition Smooth for Players
The move of Bovada players to Ignition Casino was a smooth one. Bovada shuttered its poker site on September 30. Poker players were moved to Ignition Casino in 45 states. Those in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Nevada and New York could not move and lost access to the Bodog Poker Network.
Ignition Casino offers the same withdrawal options and speeds as Bovada. This includes free Bitcoin withdrawals. Checks and bank wires are also available for Ignition Casino cashouts.
Amaya Gaming and William Hill Discuss Possible Merger
Amaya Gaming and William Hill have been in talks about a possible merger. This would include PokerStars. Amaya Gaming has seen internal turmoil after CEO David Baazov resigned amid an insider trading investigation tied to the PokerStars acquisition.
Ongame Network to Close October 15
The Ongame Network will close on October 15. This official announcement came after reports last month that major skins were looking for a new home.
Most skins have already left for other networks. The Microgaming Poker Network appears to be the main new home for former Ongame skins. Those that have not named a new platform include Paradise Poker, Golden Palace and Scandic Bookmakers.
