Online Poker Returns to Bovada
Online poker is back at Bovada. The site’s PaiWangLuo skin is identical to what it was before it moved all poker players to Ignition Poker last year.
The move brings online poker back right before Bovada’s busiest time of the year. It also comes as the PaiWangLuo network lost its title as the largest US-friendly poker site. Winning Poker now averages more cash game players, according to PokerScout.
Bovada still bans players from five states. Those states are Delaware, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey and New York. There is some good news for players in those states. Bovada permits existing accounts there. This means that players in those states that lost access to poker when the move to Ignition Poker occurred can get back into the action.
Bovada accepts players from several other countries. These include Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela. Canadian players have access through Bodog, while Australians can play on Ignition Poker. US players may choose between Bovada and Ignition Poker.
Nothing changed at Ignition Poker. That site still offers poker and casino games. It does not have a sportsbook.
Bovada offers new poker players a 100% up to $500 first deposit bonus. This is valid to players that did not receive it before the move to Ignition Poker.
