Bovada Golden Spade Poker Open
Bovada and its network partner Bodog announced the Golden Spade Poker Open tournament series. It will run between September 9th and November 3rd. There will be two distinct series running at the same time. The Contender Series, which will feature lower buyins aimed at casual players, and the Championship Series, which is aimed at serious players.
Each individual series will feature 51 events. The Contender Series will carry a combined $250,000 in guaranteed prize pools, while the Championship series will have a combined prize pool of $1.25 million. Bovada is the largest online poker room to accept US players.

Carbon Poker and its network partner Merge Gaming will offer its Poker Maximus Series starting this weekend. The event runs between September 8th and September 22nd. There are a total of 85 events with both the opening and closing day each offering 11 tournaments. The combined guaranteed prize pool is $3 million.
Winning Poker Network M2 Double Guaranteed Weekend
The Winning Poker Network, which includes Americas Cardroom and True Poker, will double all of its multi table tournament guarantees between now and September 9th. The usual Sunday events will also run as normal.
