Party Poker New Jersey Announces Pro Sports Sponsorships
Party Poker in New Jersey struck a deal with the Philadelphia 76’ers and New Jersey Devils to become a sponsor. This includes advertising courtside and ice-side with Party Poker New Jersey’s logo. There will also be a requirement that responsible gambling information be published on the banners.
Party Poker will give players a chance “to win regular, courtside and VIP box seats to every New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia 76ers home game.”, according to a press release. Prudential Center concert seats will also be given away to players that win contests that will be held periodically.
Skrill Leaves Canada, Remains in New Jersey
Skrill has officially left the Canadian online gaming market. This was effective January 2. Instadebit has become an ewallet replacement for Skrill. Many sites still process electronic checks to Canadian players. Skrill is a new entrant in the U.S. online gaming market. It is accepted by some New Jersey regulated sites. According to an interview with Online Poker Report, Skrill will be in the Nevada online poker market in the near future.
Winning Poker Network Adds Bitcoin Deposit Option
The Winning Poker Network has added Bitcoin as a deposit option. Unlike SealswithClubs where game are in Bitcoin and players take on the risk of price fluctuations, Winning Poker Network players are simply buying Bitcoin and immediately converting them into USD to play at the tables.
The current deposit maximum is $1,000. Bitcoin is not yet available for withdrawals.
Party Poker Continues New Jersey Market Dominance
Party Poker continues its New Jersey online poker dominance. It is peaking over 600 cash game players daily, according to PokerScout, averaging 260 players at any given time. Party Poker is more than 50 percent larger than WSOP, its closest competitor. 888 is in third place, while Ultimate Poker is a distant fourth place.
