TheBeast tables will continue to be offered. That is the monthly points race on the network. The maximum rake for promotional tables will be $.25. TheBeast cash game race will receive $.18 of this rake, while $.07 will go to the TheBeast tournament promotional pool.
The Winning Poker Network includes Americas Cardroom and True Poker.
Ultimate Poker Version 2 Plagued with Crashes
Players have reported many issues with Ultimate Poker’s second generation of software. The first weekend was plagued with server problems and many guaranteed tournaments were canceled or crashed while in progress. While the software did address some animation issues and included several new features, players have continued to complain about disconnections. Ultimate Poker is working hard to replicate and correct the issues.
Ultimate Poker Deposit Bonus
Ultimate Poker announced a deposit bonus with the roll out of the new software. The bonus is available to both new and existing players. Any player that deposits $100 or more between now and September 8, 2013 will receive a pending $100 bonus. Unlike other bonuses that were based on dealt raked hands, this bonus is tied to the new Color Up VIP program. Players must earn 1,000 XPs to receive the bonus. One XP is earned for every $.10 in rake paid using the winner takes all method. This means that a player must rake $100 to clear the bonus, making it equal to 100% rakeback. Players will earn more than 100% rakeback when combining the bonus with VIP rewards.
Players have until December 31, 2013 to clear the bonus. The bonus is paid every Tuesday for players that cleared the bonus during the previous Monday through Sunday. Players may only receive this bonus once.
While players must be in Nevada to sit at real money games, players do not have to be in Nevada to deposit. A player that expects to be in Nevada before the end of the year may deposit before September 8th and clear the bonus by the end of the year. Ultimate Poker accepts electronic checks and credit cards from out of state players.
Delaware Launches Free Play Games
Delaware’s Lottery and its three racinos released a free play version of their games Wednesday. The games will use IGT’s DoubleDown casino app on Facebook. Real money games are still about two months away, according to the Delaware Newszap. These games will use software provided by the partnership of Scientific Games and IGT. A merger between Scientific Games and WMS was approved by shareholders earlier this year.
